Bits and Bobs!

This is a post of some random pictures of the last few days. I've been a bit under the weather and have a terrible, trembly head this morning. Not quite a migraine, but not affected by tablets either, so I'm just putting up with it and drinking gallons of ginger and lemon tea. I appologise for any mistakes, as my typing is terrible and I may not be able to correct all the mistakes.

As promised here is daughter in best scarey mode. She was worried that her boyfriend wouldn't like her dressed like this, but as he was a ghoulish zombie, they made a perfect pair :)

Here she is looking sweet again and surprise, surprise, with Jubbley!

Can you believe I allowed this at the breakfast table. If you click on the picture, you can just make out that he is eating a cornflake! Aren't they adorable? :)

It was magical at the field this morning, and despite the pouring rain, I just had to get my camera out. Yesterday these mushrooms were like little towers reaching toward the twilight sky. Today their canopies opened to shield the fairies from the rain.

Here is my hand as a guide to size.

I so love the view from underneath. Lucky fairies to live here :)

Hi Kim, oooooo your daughter looks scary! Great costume! I can see how you all fell in love with little Jubbley. That is so sweet the way he is eating the cornflake...
The mushroom photos are wonderful (love the perspective)... hope you feel better soon!

Shaggy parasoles! They wouldn't have lasted long if I'd found them - straight in the frying pan with some butter, fairies and all.

Oh! I didn't know you could eat them, I've picked some white field mushrooms to go with some chard for supper. Maybe I'll try one and the fairies can move along to live with her neighbours :)

Tell her she looked the ticket - I'm hiding under the chair! Jubbly is obviously a much better brought up hamster than those little demons we had here!

Lovely photos of the parasols too.

I think it helped that Jubbley was sooo young when we got him, and frankly, he's been given no choice in the matter. She simply loves him tooooo much :)

Hello Ms. Yarrow. I sure hope you are starting to feel better! So many people are having colds or the flu around my area! Such a fun post. Great to see your daughter dressed for the holidays. I love all the shroom photos, but the first one from underneath! Wow, I want to be a fairy too!

Not bad for my crummy camera is it Tammie? :) Glad you dropped by, and no, still headachey!

I love the fairy houses. I finally sent my Moly out. How are you doing with yours?
